April Sales Revenue Reported at NT$ 1.309 Billion
Gemtek (TSE:4906) March sales revenue is reported at NT$ 1.309 billion. Consolidating sales revenue NT$ 1229 Million is contributed from Gemtek Technology in Taiwan while the other NT$ 80 Million contributed from Gemtek’s China manufacturing factories. The consolidation of financial statements had deducted the internal transactions between Taiwan and Mainland China operations.
The MoM decline resulted from component constraints by which integrated products were impacted. These orders will be delayed in delivery. Gemtek’s order outlook in 2Q remains strong even though component shortage remains a concern. However, it is likely that the tightness will gradually ease in the following months. Contributed by the recovery of deployment tempo of telco customers, chances are that Gemtek’s sales revenue will register sequential growth since 2Q.

March Sales Revenue
Reported at NT$ 1.561 Billion
MoM Registered a 41.3% Growth
Gemtek (TSE:4906) March sales
revenue is reported at NT$
1.561 billion and MoM
registered a 41.3% growth, which
brings Q1 total revenue to NT$
4.069 billion. Consolidating sales
revenue NT$ 1491 Million
contributed from Gemtek Technology
in Taiwan while the other NT$
70 Million is contributed
from Gemtek’s China manufacturing
factories. The consolidation of
financial statements had deducted
the internal transactions between
Taiwan and Mainland China operations.
Contributed by the recovery of deployment
tempo of telco customers, WiMAX and
IPSTB shipment momentum is gradually
picking up. Some new products will
go into shipment starting Q2. It
is likely to see Gemtek’s sales revenue
to register sequential growth since
Q2.

February Sales
Revenue Reported at NT$ 1.105 Billion
Gemtek (TSE:4906) Februray sales
revenue is reported at NT$
1.105 billion. Consolidating
sales revenue NT$ 1046 Million
contributed from Gemtek Technology
in Taiwan while the other NT$
59 Million is contributed
from Gemtek’s China manufacturing
factories. The consolidation of
financial statements had deducted
the internal transactions between
Taiwan and Mainland China operations.
The 21% MoM decline mainly resulted
from fewer working days during
Chinese New Year and labor and
component shortage. However, since
labor and component tightness has
gradually been easing, March sales
revenue is expected to go back
to a normal level. While telecom
customers recover from global recession
and return to its deployment tempo,
it is likely that Gemtek would
enjoy significant revenue growth
contributed by telecom market since
Q2.
