Gemtek WMII-109AG is a Mini PCI Card supporting dual-band (2.4-GHz and 5-GHz) radio operation. It provides high-speed wireless connection with data rate up to 54 Mbps. With its standard Type III B interface, light Weight at only 13g, and low power consumption, it can be easily integrated to a wide range of OEM/ODM devices.

As defined in 802.11a/b/g standard, WMII-109AG Mini-PCI uses DSSS and OFDM technology, and implements CCK, DQPSK, DBPSK modulation. Its dual band feature provides the ability to connect to any standard-based wireless network - 802.11a, 802.11b standards and 802.11g specification. It supports faster data transmission rates over greater distances than 802.11b-only devices.

WMII-109AG ensures you reliable wireless communication by Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) using a 64-bit and 128-bit key, and also by Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), the next generation cryptography algorithm which encrypts data much faster and safer.
