The Access Point offers five times faster throughput than the widely deployed 802.11b products, while sharing the small radio spectrum of 2.4GHz. In the meantime to serve the 5GHz bandwidth and 72Mbps high speed, 802.11a technology is integrated in the products for full coverage of the wireless sphere.

This product when use in the home environment, enable the users to configure a private network that shares out the Internet connection and network printers. While in the office, it could be connected to the 802.11a spectrum for large files transmissions on top of the office networking resources.

To ease the configuration process, a Windows based wizard is included to initiate a streamline setup. The site survey function allows the device to be configured and associated to the backbone in a networked environment.
